"This company is horrible. Do not go through them for your pump OR replacement parts or bags. Elise reached out to me to tell me that I was eligible for replacement pump parts and bags, and after getting everything confirmed (like my address) the package never arrived. A month later I contacted after checking to see where the items were and I was told the box was delivered. After finding the tracking number that they never provided It was left at a previous address. I contacted them and was told there was nothing they could do because the package was already delivered. I had to screen shot where I confirmed my address with Elise and provided my address and it was clearly not the address they shipped the parts to. After arguing with me for a while I then said I was going to have my insurance do a charge back because I didn’t receive my replacement parts or bags! She even accused me of trying to steal this stuff that I never received! I got the replacement parts and then I went to order more bags and have not gotten a response from the company in months. I had to go with a different company for replacement bags. I hope that Elise is fired for being unprofessional and I hope this company gets their ducks in a row, us breastfeeding moms have a hard enough time without companies like this one making things 10x worse. I’m an exclusively pumping mama and I can’t go without parts or bags. Insurance exists for this very thing right here. It’s disgusting what your company is making new moms go through to get the medical care that they deserve."
"Tried getting a pump through them, but Amy told me I was already processed through another company to get one and that they couldn't help me. When I sent them prove I wasn't processed or receiving anything from the other company and that I simply just made an account with no info uploaded I was given the run around. I felt that everything was handled unprofessional and it was frustrating. I wouldn't recommend mommy Xpress to anyone I know."
"I had placed an order for a breast pump with this company and had already gotten a prior authorization from my doctor and insurance company, since it was slightly under 2 years from my last pump for my previous child. I was assured by insurance the prior authorization would be sufficient to receive a new pump. This company flat out rejected the request since it was within 2 years of receiving my last pump. I told them about the prior authorization, etc and they said they have never been paid by insurance on a pump order placed within 2 years. They never even bothered to check. Reason I know this is because I placed the order with another supplier and provided them the same info and received the pump no problem. Other company was Pumps for Mom for any other mommy's out there in a similar situation."
"I received a pump at the hospital after giving birth that went through this company. They sent me a bill for $95.00 over a year after having my son when my insurance should have covered it fully. I was able to get the issue cleared up with insurance. Then I received another bill 22 months after receiving the pump for $405.00. My insurance company claimed they paid for it. I called Xpress and they said it was fully paid 6 months before this bill came to me. Definitely seems like a scam to get people to pay when they don't actually have a balance."
"The rep I talked to was very nice and I got my pump for $125 instead of a bit over $200, but on reading the reviews I'm pretty sure I should've just gone directly to my insurance company instead. I saw a statement and it looks like they charged my insurance company $500! So overall they made about 3x what the pump is worth. Absolute scam. What's worse is that it was my doctor's office who recommended using them! I would say just check with your insurance directly to see what's covered first before going to them because you can probably get a better deal."
