"I have been employed at Kidz Watch for almost 2 years. We have an awesome team of teachers who genuinely care for our kiddos like they're our own. The owner, Emily, is compassionate and very involved in day to day operations. She bends over backwards to give us our requested days off and often rewards us with gift cards or bonuses for working hard. I enjoy going to work everyday at Kidz Watch!"
"I have worked at Kidz Watch for 6 years. I have worked at some other child care centers and none of them compared to the owner of Kidz Watch. She is very a very kind and caring person. She will do what ever she can to help her employees. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful boss."
"I couldn’t even last a full day of employment there on my first day. They lie to get people hired and on your first day, don’t fulfill their promises. They act like having one day off a week is so inconvenient for them, they give short breaks and long shifts, and of course the undeserving pay. And people wonder why they can’t keep employees, it’s businesses like this."
"I had my daughters at this place full time for three years. We moved out of town otherwise they would still be attending. During that time my wife and I felt like it was a huge blessing that we had found it. Our schedules were crazy and unpredictable and I don’t think another place in town could be as flexible as this place. Furthermore, the late hours open for drop in care allowed us to go on date nights without having to worry about if a babysitter could be available. Yes there are drawbacks with daycare centers. Our kids were more ill than probably they would have been if we hired a nanny so it meant more work was missed by either my wife or myself. But I honestly don’t think it was worse at this daycare than any other. They took hygiene seriously and always had us keep the girls home when they were sick. The food is made so that most children will like the meals which means sugary foods and if you are a picky adult, like my wife and I were, you had to bring your own meals. They were great with adapting and accommodated my children’s vegetarian diet. Furthermore, we bottle fed breast milk and did cloth diapers. Outside of rare occurrences everything worked well with both breast milk feeding and the cloth diapers. In the three years of my children going to Kidz Watch I grew to respect Emily, the owner and manager, a lot. She was always pleasant, loving to my children, fair and honest. If there was any ever a question about charges she was always organized and would correct any errors quickly. Could the outdoors area be bigger at other daycare centers? Maybe. But the kind and loving staff, central location to Centerville and the flexible hours with large indoor play areas easily outweigh the small outdoor play area. Bottom line: I loved Kidz Watch and I would immediately decide to send my children there again if I were to do the last three years over again."
"My son has been going to this daycare since he was 7 weeks old and while I was initially hesitant (I didn't like the layout of the infant room) they have been absolutely wonderful for him. The flexibility of the hours make them ideal for our schedules and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, if it wasn't for this daycare my son could have become seriously ill - they found an inguinal hernia when he was only 3 months old, something that had been overlooked at all of his doctor visits and which we ourselves couldn't find until they sent us photos. My only quibble would be that I believe their food should be better. They follow guidelines but I don't like that they offer sweetened cereal, their snacks are not always the healthiest, and I think they should offer more vegetables. I feel like my son has become a pickier eater since we stopped sending food to daycare with him. They have always offered for us to send our own food for him if we don't like something on the menu but so far it's been too much of a hassle for us to plan. Overall a lovely daycare!"
