"Called around asking multiple shops if they specialized in African American hair, got on the phone with a lovely African American lady which I will say yes she was very nice, but my hair wasn’t. I asked for the 8 dollar treatment because she said they were doing a sale on treatments, and I asked for my hair to be curly in the end. After putting the treatment in my hair/washing it then towel drying it, she put me under the dryer which I thought was interesting considering after you wash somebody’s hair you usually blow dry it. She said that blow drying defeats the purpose… not sure what she was referring to but go off… Anyway, she asked me what look I was going for and asked me did I want to use the curling iron or flat iron. I said either one but idk why she asked me if she only had a flat iron. My hair came out looking absolutely horrible, I mean I’m not even a hair dresser but I could do my hair better than that. No curls, not even bone straight, just depression… would not recommend."
