"I went up to the counter to ask a question and there were two employees there. The older one was extremely rude, but the younger one was polite and considerate. Representing a faith-based organization, at least one of them exhibited the characteristics of the Christ!"
"Prices have doubled in the past couple of months. There used to be three sale colors, now that only happens on Saturdays. I also shopped on bag day and they charged me for all my items. When I asked about the bag sale, the cashier said I had to ask her for a bag first to let her know I wanted to shop for the bag sale(no clothing items were excluded). Their made up rules and changing them constantly is a ridiculous. They sometimes have good things in their front case but charge as if they’re an eBay store. It seems all the thrift shops in Toledo are like this now."
"This thrift is forever turning away donations and yet prices things at ‘ebay prices’ in their cabinet that are worth nowhere near that. They seem to forget they are a thrift store asking $40-50 for sneakers they pulled out yet didn’t even clean up!? These are donated preowned items and noone in this area can afford $50 on used sneakers. All the regular shoes they put out are worn to death and trash and there is no in between. My husband wanted work boots and the one time he actually saw some they were covered in dirt and priced at $20 for a Meijer brand boot!? If you didnt price so high on DONATED FREE items they would sell faster, the staff never seem to put stuff out at any speed (learn from Goodwill up the st) and stop printing out ‘proof’ of ebay items to try to justify overpricing. The reason those Vera Bradley purses have been in that cabinet for WEEKS being overpriced is because you can get them in Goodwill day in day out for $5. The manager here and whoever sets prices needs to get real and stop pulling out all the good items which clearly happens as the clothing is never great either. The only time this store is good is on $15 bag days which are rare."
"Relatively clean store. Decent amount of parking. Some items are priced a little high . While other items are priced reasonably ."
"There are always sales going on! I rarely pay more than $15-20 a visit. The staff are very kind and helpful. This store in particular also has a better men's selection than other competitors, and a very nice selection of shoes!"
