"Beautiful restaurant, great staff, and amazing food. Service was fast. They have so many great menu options and fun specials. I was so excited to see that they serve wild salmon, which is rare in a restaurant. My salmon was a little overcooked for my liking but the entire dish was so flavorful and presented beautifully. The warm coconut butter cake was incredible too. Can't wait to go back!"
"Overall a good authentic experience, with a few pointers, we had a reservation for 9 at 615 on a Saturday, but still had to wait around 20 min. Not necessarily the restaurants fault, Bc the previous people hasn’t left yet, however I could see this happening often due to the overall smaller size of the restaurant, which takes me to the next point, the restaurant is built like a residential house. Nicely decorated, but everything just feel squished. I like fancy restaurants to be roomier. The last point is pricing, it is definitely on the higher end. The quality is fine, the premium they are charging are for the authenticity. We had a Brazilian guy who gave the authenticity approval. Also the GM is Brazilian. I personally wouldn’t return, but if you are really into authentic Brazilian food, give it a try."
"I had a quick meal at the bar. The pork belly and the coconut cake were delicious. Loved the atmosphere and they make a great caipirhna!"
"They have 2 locations with this one in Chagrin Falls. You can walk around town afterwards and there’s a waterfall you can walk to. Food was good and server was attentive and offered his recommendations which did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is in a restored Victorian house so it feels like you’re at someone’s house. There was a bathroom on the first floor, still stall but was huge and I like the paper napkins they used. -Pao de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread): had a hard shell on the outside but was soft on the inside so a bit different than the ones they have at Fogo de Chao. -Marisco Lambe Lambe (Mussels): good sauce and good sized mussels -Churrasco Misto: sirloin, chicken and sausage with rice and beans. Steak was juicy and cooked to temperature ordered. -Passion Fruit Mousse: nice tangy flavor -Coconut Butter Cake: cake was soft and I liked the toasted coconut bits: added a nice crunch"
"The 4 of us agreed that the service and ambiance are great, but at the price point of the food and drinks, it was nothing exceptional. $21 for an OK “mid-shelf” Manhattan is a little excessive, even for the “high rent district” clientele. I will pay top $ for “exceptional” food and drinks, but Batuqui did not make the cut with me. Regardless, please do not let my review discourage you from giving them a try."
