The Narrows Reserve Nature Center

"I always like taking this trail. It meanders through the woods through a loop that sits on a hill. You walk along the river and can hear ducks and geese and see birds rummaging around in the leaves. Also rabbits and squirrels abound. Due to all the snow melt today’s hike was extremely muddy. Absolutely worth it though."

"The Narrows is a nice spot with a beautiful path along the water. There’s a few options as far as trails. It hasn’t changed much over the past decade as I relied on my past experience here to navigate the River loop. My only suggestion is the trails aren’t marked well/often. I helped a few people out because they couldn’t find their way to the parking lot. That made me realize I myself hadn’t seen many signs. Overall a lovely reserve that I would recommend to others!"

"Great place to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. Chose to walk the path along river to maximize shade as it was quite warm today. The paths vary in width with side paths to pass slower walkers. Enjoyed the nice shady path with sounds of nature. Have to keep mind that when one is out in nature, there will be roots sticking up, loose rocks and mud after rain so one does need to keep their footing in mind."

"Awesome Nature Reserve. Very nice trails, although some muddy, but it did rain a few days prior. A lot of the trail butted up next to the Little Miami River. Most of the trails were wide and well marked. The coolest thing was the huge trees. And I mean 12’ circumference (estimated) a picture just doesn’t do them justice on how huge (and old) they are. Tons of wildflowers (found a rare Siberian squill) native to Russia. Also many tree species and bird species. Will def go back in the summer. Nature preserves Parks Hiking Trails"
