Reviews
"I love this part, it’s more than a park it’s a actual working farm from the 1800s! Throughout the year they have various activities, dressing. Costumes, and do lots of things for the children! They have a blacksmith shop, and icehouse, several Barnes, a windmill and much much more."
"Lots of great hiking trails, with regular trail markers so you know which trail you're on, although they intersect often enough that you can kind of mix and match. It's a good place for catch and release fishing as well. You can often spot frogs from the boardwalk, and if you get lucky, you might see a turtle, or a hawk looking for fish."
"Really nicely maintained park. Great visitors center. Interesting historic farmstead. Lots of great farmland photos for photography."
"I enjoy this park every time I come. I don't make it here often. This trip I visited the visitors center very nice and the volunteers were very helpful and informative when it came to the park. I had a little one with me she enjoyed the play center inside."
"This park is a wonderful place to come and walk around. You can see so much history here! I am very sad the country store is permanently closed now my kids loved coming here to buy candy! You can still see some beautiful sights and cute animals around. Definitely worth coming too and checking out! We had a lot of fun here today!"
