"The excellent childcare provided is the reason I am able to prioritize my own health and fitness. I could not do this at any other gym and the people at child watch are people I trust. 2 hours a day per child, and able to split up the time and have each child go at different times of day, this flexibility makes enrolling older siblings in Y sport programs dramatically easier. The Y is a cornerstone for my family and the women running Child Watch are absolutely the bedrock there."

"The new sports director is very unorganized, this will be the 3rd sport my children participated in since he started and each sport gets more unorganized and chaotic. The old sports director was very good at her job. The new sports director has teams traveling, which parents sign up for sports at certain YMCA’s for the location. We do not want to travel to other Y’s. We want to stay at the Y we signed up for. Also he does not give participation trophies … these are beginner sports , this is how you get kids interested and motivated to get into sports .. I agree 1st place should get trophies, but every child should get a participation medal. And the cost of a really nice medal for a whole team is around $70 .. for a WHOLE TEAM. When each child is paying $100 just to play , I don’t think it’s unreasonable for each kid to get a participation trophy. As a child I remember collecting medals and trophies each year I played a sport and it was motivation to keep playing. It’s a shame the sports program is going down hill , my kids have been participating for years."

"Jackson R. Lehman is one of our favorite YMCA's in Fort Wayne. They have an indoor splash pad, lap lanes, and warm water therapy pool. Their life guards are friendly and kind while still enforcing the rules. I bring my son and we always have the most incredible time. We are so grateful for their pool.
