"We had a great time! Our puzzle master, Jordan, was energetic and knowledgeable and there were plenty of puzzles to occupy us. The Cleopatra's Tomb escape room was good for our mixed age group of kids and adults. It wasn't creepy or scary, just fun, and everyone worked together to find the solutions so we could "escape"."
"We did the Mayan Temple room which turned out to be their “expert” room. The room itself was really well designed in terms of mood, lighting, props, clues, and automation although a couple of the automated aspects were malfunctioning. The room itself deserves 5 stars. It’s quite hard and we had several highly experienced escape room players. Only dropped it to 4 because we had to wait well past our confirmed start time and then they gave us some directions in terms of moving objects within the three spaces that turned out to be wrong. Almost didn’t solve it because of that. Only book this room if you’re experienced. Most groups don’t escape in time. We did with about a minute to spare. The waiting area is tiny and claustrophobic if two groups are there. So I’d recommend arriving close to your start time."
"I went a few years ago and it was my first ever escape room. We did the Area 51 one and I thought it was alright but the room decor was kinda lacking compared to other escape room places and we were already in a pretty big group and we were grouped with another big group of people so it got pretty crowded and everyone was either doing something or trying to find something to do since everyone was already in an area. I don’t know if it’s any different than it was about 4-5 years ago but when I went it was just ok"
"Always love Lockology! The escape rooms are fun, some rooms are very tech oriented. Several rooms are kid friendly and my 11 year old has been loving these escape rooms since she was 9. Escape rooms are a great way to get together, spend time, and communicate. Fun with other adults or with the kids (in kid friendly rooms). Highly recommend the Mayan Temple of Knowledge room and the Crime Scene. We have also done the old Excalibur room and it was fun! It's been changed out for a new room now."
"Venus needs a new job. Couldn't help us with location of the escape room, unhappy to greet us, unhelpful clues for puzzles we already solved, condescending "customer service voice", and said we removed a piece in a room when it was still on the same location, quickly locked doors as we left, but told us during the game that she was helping another room, even though literally no one else was there except the 4 from our party. Speaking in a baby voice doesn't excuse rude words, "it's an expert room," as we left the building instead of, "Have a nice night." Extremely condescending and fake 'pleasant attitude'. I get you hate your job, but please lay off the passive aggression. I feel bad for the company, I'm sure the brand itself is great, unfortunately can't say the same for the staff. Would highly recommend going to a different location or waiting for a new hire. I would hope management would contact us for a refund. After 60 plus escape rooms across the USA, this was by far the worst one. Go somewhere else if you want to have fun, win, or lose. The room itself was great! Had Venus been a decent human, we could have had a much better experience. It really is unfortunate..."
