The hiring and onboarding process is very thorough which as a guide I appreciate. Management is also very helpful with aiding classrooms when needed and does a good job knowing what goes on in their classrooms. "Our experience with Guidepost Montessori was deeply disappointing and distressing. Despite our hopes for a nurturing and supportive environment for our 3-year-old son, we were met with a lack of understanding, communication, and support from the school administration. Our son was suspended for a week just before Christmas due to hitting, kicking, and biting behaviors. We met with the school, and requested their input to be proactive by having someone from their headquarters observe our son. This never took place after constant requests for a follow-up meeting. Instead of working with us to address these issues and explore potential underlying causes, the school abruptly informed us that he could no longer return, without any prior meetings or attempts to find solutions together at the end of January. Furthermore, our son reported instances of mistreatment by his teacher, including one incident where his hand was squeezed forcefully. Such behavior is unacceptable and deeply concerning in an educational setting meant to foster trust and care. It's evident that the school's handling of our situation fell short of providing the necessary support and resources that our son, and by extension, our family, needed. We can't help but feel that our experience may have been influenced by discriminatory factors, as we were the only Black family in the class. This adds another layer of distress to an already difficult situation. In sharing our experience, our hope is to shed light on the shortcomings of Guidepost Montessori and prevent other families from experiencing similar hardships. Every child deserves a fair chance to thrive in an environment that values their individual needs and provides genuine support to both children and their families."

"I can not say enough good things about this school. I wish I could take the teachers (guides) home as live-in nannies - they are amazing! They take such good care of my two kids, sending daily updates with pictures and EXTENSIVE daily details. It is very clean and materials are cared for. I love the sense of community here as well. There are very wonderful families with sweet kids that I feel very lucky my children get to grow with!"
