"Being a Pro Member seems like a disadvantage versus a benefit, at least at the Belleville location. They pro desk is usually staffed with disgruntled employees who seem to put a LOT of effort into getting out of work. Have had employees refuse to check out at the pro desk, sent us to customer service only to be sent BACK to the pro desk. Other employees around the store are left to pick up for their lack of customer service and it’s evident. Pro members typically spend thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars per quarter, and this is a prime example of how to not retain those customers. I’ll pay more elsewhere when the option is available to avoid unnecessary hassles."
"Been to this location several times to buy home repair items and couldn’t find them. When trying to find ANYONE in an orange apron to help, either they say they’re too busy and to ask another associate, just point to a general area without helping find the items (which can be in odd areas), or pretend they don’t hear us and walk away. This is why Amazon is doing better business."
