"The Temple of Tolerance is the back yard of Jim Bowsher. You park on the street and walk by the house into the exhibit. It is like walking through a maze of primarily stone constructions. We went in December so there wasn’t anything growing but I imagine it would be fun to see it when the trees and plants are leafed out. There was no charge to visit but you can make a donation if desired. It took us about half an hour to walk through but you could wander a little slower."
"The Temple of Tolerance is amazing. The owner is a local gem and has opened this area to the public. Every stone is catalogued, according to him (I had the pleasure of seeing him speak at a college Social Diversity course) and each artifact has a significance. Just magical to see. I took my kids often and it just so neat. 10 stars"
"This place is so beautiful, it has definitely been added to since I was there last! Jim B. Was there today, got to say hi :) told him it was my husbands first time here, he smiled, and told us to enjoy our time here. Nice place to be able to come visit and look at the scenery. I took many other pictures. Just some to show for amazing review, if you go visit please have much respect for this man’s property and work of art. It’s a nice place to be able to visit! It amazing how much work he has put into this place! Can’t give him enough credit!"
"Completely free to go to. Rock garden in the back and wow, you can walk up there and sit. I wonder if they ever use the fire pit. Apparently the owner of the home actually lives there. But you are able to go out back and on the porch. There is a donation box. I am seeing in other comments that on Thursdays sometimes in the past there is blue grass music. Apparently some people have also done weddings here."
