The Park

"Never going back to this place unless there is something done with the rotten group of people that are in the league with the bar management. My wife, my dad, and a friend of ours went there yesterday (January, 5th, 2024) and we were having a great time. Unfortunately, the terrible group of human beings that hang out at the end of the bar by the bathrooms (and behind the bar) decided to threaten us physically because of our friend who was cheering everyone on singing karaoke with a tambourine. He was giving the singers a fun atmosphere and complimenting everyone who sang (even if they don't do very well). He is a fantastic human being and didn't deserve that kind of treatment so we backed our friend up. In the end, it got to the point where the whole group was ready to get violent with all of us because they didn't want to here the tambourine anymore. Once it got to that point, we decided to leave (while receiving provoking insults that we just ignored). To put it into perspective, the tambourine accented the music and made the atmosphere more fun. The rude group, however, had quite a few screamers with terrible voices singing louder than the singer up with the microphone (they were so loud and belligerent, the singers couldn't even hear themselves). To me, that is a more valid reason to bring up an issue (but we didn't because we don't like to tear people down if they don't have good voices). Everyone else in the bar besides that sad group of people loved our friend with the tambourine. I don't know why that group would treat us so badly, but they really need to get the stick out their butt and find some enjoyment in their life. To end this on a good note, the DJ working that evening was very nice and accommodating (he was the only one who apologized for the behavior of the rotten group with the bar management). Regardless of the DJs apology, he is not the one to fix this. As I mentioned before, we will not be back until this problem is addressed and we receive assurance this will never happen again. We will also ward off many of our other karaoke friends to not come to this bar for the time being as well."
