"I will admit it looked better than last time I went through and today's staff was friendliest in almost 7mo BUT it continues to be filled with lost of broken, dirty and outdated items. They Finally moved the usually filled buggies to bk of store to put up Christmas but buggies now in central of store filled w/ items that were either Way over priced or REALLY should never hv made it into the store to begin with. VERY disappointed AGAIN. I think today will be the last time I go :("
"Bought a table, went out to the car to make room, came in to get the table. Guy who was loading it was confused because another woman had just purchased the table. Through the receipts we found out the lady in front of us bought the table and the cashier sold it again to us. No biggie mistakes happen. But the store manager refused to refund us the cost of the table after the other customer took it with them. Store credit only. She was not willing to rectify the mistake, I was treated as though it was my fault they sold the same table twice. We were nice and took the parts of the table out of our cart to give to the lady who bought it 2 minutes before us. They informed us we would get our money back and they called syndey the store manager to approve it. She wouldn’t approve it and told us to come back tomorrow in the morning after we already told her several times we were from out of state. A customer offered to pay us cash and take our store credit but they refused. Sydney told me repeatedly to call corporate and wouldn’t give me the number. It wasn’t until we were willing to involve cops that magically Sydney approved a cash refund. I heard her say get her out of there and if she wants to, call corporate. I again asked for the number and she refused telling me to Google it. I’ll be speaking to the VP of her division tomorrow. Customers in line said this is normal and the store manager is rude. And furniture gets double sold all the time! One lady who was amazing even had her chair cushion in her cart because she bought a chair and didn’t want them to sell it. She said they have done it to her! TLDR: they sold us furniture that was already sold and refused to refund the money from the fraudulent sale. Update: Corporate was very understanding and took the issue seriously. If you are ever debating calling corporate on this store please do as they are interested in proper training to stop history from repeating itself. Just because it’s in a low income area doesn’t mean anyone deserves to be treated like garbage from the store manager. Thank you Tim!"
"Update on. 10.12.23, 3'30 PM I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this review just minutes after my latest experience. I went in not expecting very much on a Friday night. To my surprise I found two cute little coffee mugs. There was a sign posted saying 50 cents for mugs. Great! Except when I got to the cash register. The girl wanted to charge me three times what the sign said. And before anybody gets all hot and bothered, yes, I can afford a dollar fifty for a mug, but that's not the point. The cashier said it was because of the detail on the mug. What?? There's no sign anywhere that even implies that the cashier can arbitrarily up the price if she wants to. Just another reason to make this my "running out of options" store. Original Review: Sadly this one is a real disappointment compared to the one in Woodville. Perhaps they're understaffed, because the place is always unkempt. It seems as though this location will accept anything that comes through its door even if it's broken, stained, or missing pieces. While not everyone can afford to shop in department stores, do we really have to dig through bins and pick things up off the floor?"
