Build-A-Bear

"The staff made the experience for my daughter great! However, they had a deal on the troll my daughter wanted, and it said half off. I was talking to the staff about it when stuffing it, and they said it was half off with a regular price bear, so i said ok and went back to pick a bear. I went to the counter and asked if it was half off the troll or the lower amount bear. The lady told me i had to buy two of the half off bears in order to get it half priced. I went back to the sign and it said half off with a regular priced bear, so i went back to the same person who told me i had to get two half off bears and asked if they were sure because the sign said with a regular priced bear, she looked and said it would come off the lower amount bear then. I was upset at this point, my daughter had spent all morning at the princess ball and wanted to make a princess bear. So my daughter picks out voice, stuffs her troll, and we settle on an outfit. I get to the counter and a new lady is there, and i ask if she could ring up the troll doll with a regular priced bear and see what bear becomes half off, at that point she tells me i can get a regular bear and the troll would be half off. At this point my daughter is over it. I am upset because i already could have gotten what i wanted and been done. I was told 3 different things! They were nice to my child but rude to me."

"This is a great place to create a super high-quality stuffed animal friend that will last for years and years. I took my daughter there when she was 4 years old, and she still has her puppy she made at 22. I made sure to take my nieces and sister, too. It is expensive to get all the extras; but you can get something really cute for about $60-80. It is an amazing experience that children and adults remember and cherish."

"On Saturday we took my daughter to build a bear in Strongsville, Ohio. It was her first time there. She had fun picking out her dog and getting him filled with plush. She’s a shy toddler and the store associates were very patient and friendly with her. There were lots of clothes and accessories to pick. On Sunday we realized that she had left her little stuffed kitten in the store. I called the store, not thinking they would actually have it but to my surprise they had found the toy kitten and kept it for us! The store associates kindly went out of their way to hold it for us until we came back during the week. They also were nice enough to write my daughter a letter from her kitten saying how much the kitten missed her, loved her and was happy to go home! Great customer service and thoughtfulness from the store associates at this store. It was much appreciated from me and my daughter! A happy reunion!"

"I have never been to Build-A-Bear before, so for a first timer with my kids, I had a blast! The employees were bubbly, pleasant, and super helpful, and had the perfect upbeat attitude that kept my toddlers engaged during the bear stuffing process. I will gladly go back, even though my kids don’t need another stuffed animal, I don’t care, it is worth the experience! There were also quite a bit of options of stuffed animals to choose from. But also at the same time, the number of choices didn’t feel overwhelming. Which for toddlers 5 and under, I think is PERFECT."

"This was my first experience with build a bear and it was lengthy. The process can take some time especially if there is a line so having patience is a must. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Definitely a group that is exceptional at working with children. Overall the kids were really excited and enjoyed the experience."
