"Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience with my first ever pelvic exam at this location. At the registry I was asked if I wanted the nurse to be in the room with me during the exam and I answered "NO." Then, I waited naked alone on a chair for 30 minutes in a small room with bright lights on. There was no way to contact the doctor, and 15 minutes after waiting I thought that I was supposed to conduct the exam myself as I had the tray with tools in front of me. I googled how to do the pelvic exam and found nothing. I texted my husband and asked what I was supposed to do but he was at the meeting. I got cold and felt very uncomfortable as I have never been in a situation like that before. For some reason the nurse also was there during the exam, despite me answering "NO" to it prior to the appointment. When I felt discomfort, the doctor called me by my last name and asked to calm down. I am unsure if it's normal to not be able to sit after the exam, but for the rest of the day I was not able to sit. I would not recommend this location for your first pelvic exam."
"I just switched from MCMG to this practice after many years of putting up with doctors who didn’t listen or take me seriously. I always felt rushed, and office staff ignored phone messages or Rx requests. What a breath of fresh air! This office is filled with smiling faces and no one is rushing! Everyone was kind to me and Took the time to be very thorough updating my health history. I’m so excited and relieved to have found a provider I know I’ll be able to trust, and it’s so conveniently close to home! Thanks Dr. Fischer and MA Yasmine for providing great care today."
"I am thankful for Dr. Taylor she is wonderful to my son and wife. The issue with this place would nobody picks a phone up. It will literally take 3 days and 20 minutes to get someone on the phone. I used the prescription refill phone line and didn’t get anyone to answer. I followed directions and gave my sons name birthdate name of prescription where it gets filled my name and phone number on a Monday and it’s Saturday no phone call no prescription and I had to call and wait on hold to long. Smith clinic has been like this since 2013 and I left because of a month of misdiagnosis that almost killed me. That doctor doesn’t work there anymore. Please hire more employees to handle more work or quit taking and refer patients to other clinics and lighten the load."
"The answering service they use on the weekend is terrible combined with the fact the on-call physician said they don't review incoming test results on the weekend. We were told our four-year-old daughter's urine culture would be in on Saturday and be reviewed by the on-call physician to determine the correct antibiotic to be used on that specific bacteria. By almost 1 pm I hadn't heard anything so I called the office. The answering service gave us push back and said it would have to wait until Monday morning and to go to the emergency room. No... This is something that the physician on call needs to address as it is a continuation of the appointment we already had and were just waiting for culture results! The answering service was a human but acted like a robot just saying that all she could do was leave a message for Monday. I asked why they even have an answering service if they can't contact the Dr!!!: After much back and forth she finally let me leave a message with the on-call physician to get a call back. I mean isn't this a situation to have on-call physicians instead of going to urgent care or the emergency room!!!!?! T Dr called and seemed irritated to deal with it but at least called in the appropriate antibiotic. I'm very dissapointed in such a poor level of service! I'm very dissapointed in such a poor level of service! I will pursue this further with the Dr and the director of the clinic. Expect my call!"
"OhioHealth Marion Area Physicians (formerly known as Delaware Smith Clinic) has been my family practitioner for more than 20+ years. My entire family actually continues to use this facility because the staff is THAT amazing. The nurse staff, admin staff and the team of doctors are absolutely the best in Delaware. I continue to live more than 35 minutes away, and pass several other offices on the drive to Delaware, but refuse to change offices because they are that helpful. If you get the chance to make this your family medical office, do it. Don't worry about the decision, you wont regret it."
