"I used to love this place. I was a regular there for years. I started going there when they were still at the old location on market Street, and I was seriously considering having my book release party there later this year. I always got the Fish Called Wanda and the Young Frankenstein smoothie (that was before they took that one off the menu.) Over the years, the quality of the food went way down hill, the last few times my sandwich (which is essentially a tuna melt) wasn't even heated. But, in all the times I went in there, I never met the female owner until my last time there. She was so rude that I'll never give her another dollar. Completely uncalled for. Now I go to Muddy's where I've always been treated wonderfully and they actually know how make a tuna melt."
"From out of town. Really wanted to like it. But was just underwhelmed. Cute atmosphere but the chairs were dirty, and my Zimmy Sandwich was pretty bare. Bread tasted old and very dry. There was supposed to be cranberry slaw, which I was really excited for- but I bit into one cranberry on the whole sandwich. I considered giving two stars, but it’s the kind of place I really want to see succeed. My boyfriend’s sandwich bread was also dry, and his potato salad had no flavor at all. Also, the smoothies don’t tell you what ingredients they use. Would have liked to see what’s actually going into my Pineapple Express. Spent a lot of money for everything to be kinda meh."
"Spoon, this place is an awesome restaurant. The decor , the atmosphere, the people that work there are all great. The sandwiches all taste great. As a side you get chips, khale chips, tots or fries. Plenty to choose from even if you have a picky eater like my family. If in Wooster make this a must do on your day trip."
"The web presence and at first glance, this place is impressive. Then you encounter the staff, but on your terms, they will not come to you. Rather do busy work than acknowledge. Bartender was very unprofessional and spoke in a manner like you were bothering him by asking questions. Not welcoming. I ordered the Dec burger special. Don't. It was worth 5.99, not 12.99. The meat was flavorless and pressed hard with no juice. Very little of the jalapeno mayo, and a smidgen of the onion straws compared to the picture. Came out looking like a quarter pounder on an Aldi Brioche bun. The fries were just strewn on plate and overseasoned on one side, none on the other. Very unimpressed but it gets worse. I get my bill for just over 19.00. Happy hour. I only have a 10 and 20s. I hand it to Bartender and he says thanks. After not checking on me until my meal was almost done. I said I would like the ten on change. He brings me back 2 fives a handful of change. Guess what his tip was. It would have been customary 3.00, better for great service. Worse service in a while and tried to strong-arm me into a 25% tip. I will not return. Because they do not put the caps back on liquor bottles, fluit flies all over the bar. I wouldn't drink Makers Mark or that bottle behind it. Saw flies enter."
"Loved it! The atmosphere was so fun. Loved the decor and all of the history and old brick in the building. The staff was attentive and engaging. We decided to try a few things and share our food. The kale chips were amazing! The sandwiches knocked it out of the park. The bread smelled so good and was soft and fluffy. It complemented the sandwich fixes and made for a great experience. The pickle chips were definitely made with pickle lovers in mind! It tasted like there was dill in the batter!!! The smoothies were perfect on a hot summer day. Definitely a gem of Wooster!"
