"Decent selection of books, but sale was rounded up to the next dollar without being asked and no response from Project Learn about it. Not worried about the money, but don’t appreciate anyone making that choice for me since I’m already supporting you by purchasing."
"I use to love this place, they offered a deal where If you bought this 25$ bag you could fill it up with books every time you visited and pay only $20. It was fantastic until they decided to stop doing it without saying anything. They legitimately get all of their books for free so there is no reason to get rid of this. I filled my bag up, got to the counter, and the cashier says we don’t do this bag deal anymore and my total comes out $70… that’s a huge difference from $20. I will never shop here again, they have lost an extremely consistent customer."
"Normally, I don’t have any issue when I go in there to buy a book. They have a nice selection. People are friendly and nice except for the last time I went in there…. which was on a Tuesday evening. I was standing at the counter, waiting for my book to be rang up and it’s supposed to be $4 dollars that’s what the sign clearly says. I gave the lady a $5 dollar bill and she said she couldn’t give me change even though she looked in the jar of change on the counter, she still couldn’t give me dimes pennies or nickels to give me back a dollar from selling me the book. Instead, even though she had to change to give back to me… She decided to keep my whole $5 dollar bill. I was not happy with that at all. I don’t think I want to go back there anymore if that’s how they are going to treat people."
"Great prices, great selection, and they even have a punch card program- buy so many books, get one book free. I like knowing my $$ is going to help with Project Learn and I can donate my read books to them. Wonderful place and friendly volunteers."
"Wide variety of books. Prices clearly displayed and reasonable. Goes to a good cause. Only cons: no seating, hard to see bottom shelves."
