"I had an unfortunate experience at La Marsa in Oak Park. The hygiene practices were concerning, as the cook/manager, who also appeared to be handling food, was not wearing a hair net or gloves. This is particularly troubling because when I reported finding a hair in my food, the response was dismissive, and a refund was refused. Based on this experience, I advise caution and suggest the establishment needs to improve its sanitary standards.”"

"LOVE this place, I’m a super picky eater and usually don’t have anything positive to say about a lot of food chains. But this place is worth every penny, it tastes amazing and super fresh and healthy. Service is very quick, staff is super friendly, and the food is absolutely phenomenal. Best soup and smoothies and literally everything all around. Very happy and this place never lets me down"

"The food here is really good I ended up going to this place on Christmas Day because nothing else was open around the area. I really liked the guava smoothie and chicken shawarma. This was my first time going here and I can say without a doubt it was not a disappointment. The guy serving the food was very nice and made sure to label the different drinks. The place also looks very clean both on the inside and outside."

"I've been to La Marra many times and the food is always consistent. This was my first time ordering the Veggie Platter as the lunch platter is not available on the weekend. Fresh bread is always provided. The platter included Tabouli, Hummus that was very delicious, rice, salad, grapes leaves, falafal and spinach pies. I loved it all, outside of the spinach pies. Ive had better but this restaurant serves fresh, flavorful food. Im eating more plant based and this restaurant has great options. Plenty to share or for leftovers. The person inside could smile and be a little friendlier but maybe thats his personality. The restaurant has never been occupied or full the times I have been there."
