"Not sure what happened but this store has gone down hill. My sister and I have come to this location over the past several years and each time is worse than before. Exceptionally rude staff, today is the last time my sister and will be coming to your location. Consistent huffing and puffing from all your staff members when people walking to your store not being greeted and being treated like you are inconveniencing them. Not a good way to feel when you're walking into a retail establishment."

"The absolute epitome of rude. I came in to sell designer items and the woman was absolutely horrific to speak to. She had the worst attitude. The manager is always on her way out the door and authenticating a bag supposedly takes over an hour. I’d sooner donate my items than ever walk into this establishment again. I’d give zero stars if at all possible. Avoid this place at all costs. Extremely dirty too…"

"I have been a loyal customer of Clothes Mentor since it opened many years ago, having spent thousands of dollars at this store. However, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. I am currently pregnant and urgently needed to use the restroom during my shopping trip. This has never been an issue in the past, as the store had kindly accommodated my request before. Unfortunately, this time, the associate at the counter refused our simple request to allow me to use the restroom. The associate instead told me to walk down the street to a laundromat. This lack of empathy and understanding left me taken aback. Customer service should be at the forefront of any business, especially when loyal patrons are involved. The fact that the store did not prioritize the comfort and well-being of a pregnant customer is disheartening. It's not about the $200 worth of clothing we were about to purchase; it's about the principle of treating customers with respect and compassion. As a result of this unfortunate incident, I decided to leave the clothing on the counter and walk away from our intended purchase. I had expected better from Clothes Mentor, and this experience has left us with a bitter taste. I hope that Clothes Mentor reevaluates its customer service policies and fosters a more understanding and compassionate environment for all its customers, regardless of their circumstances. Until we see a positive change, I won't be returning to the store and will be taking our business elsewhere"

"Clothes Mentor Mayfield Heights offered a beautiful Coach purse at a great value. After speaking with a very helpful associate over the phone, I purchased the bag online as I am about 45 minutes away from the store. I was excited about the purchase (first from this location). I was so confused when I received an email at 6:04 pm the next day saying my order was canceled due to low inventory. I literally bought the bag within 15 minutes of talking to the associate near closing time. They sold my bag after I bought it! The only explanation I was given is that it happens. I am so disappointed in my experience with this store. I would recommend that one purchases in person or ask for the bag to be held if you are going to buy online. They should have removed the bag immediately after I purchased it. I was given a refund. I'll be shopping elsewhere. Good luck."

"My wife whom left a review yesterday was not lying about anything said!! She showed me the whole footage as my daughter recorded everything!!! This place should be shut down how judgmental they are against the public!! Furthermore; The manager whom we knew was the manager stated that she was training the girls and these girls have been there a while… no way in earth was she training them!! She changes employees so much because of tge way she treats people and she should be fired by the store owner RANDY if you ask me. She’s gone in here before and they’ve done exact same thing to her!! Except the lady ran to get manager and said I looked up her selling history should I get anything??” The manager replied NO!!! She trains them alright trains them to be as ignorant as she is!! I wouldn't spend a penny in this establishment!!"
