"So disappointed in this doctor. She wouldn’t see my child just because i arrived at an appointment a couple of minutes late. No empathy even though I had pulled so many stops to get to this appointment."
"Really love their office. Kind nursing staff and have had both doctors. They have both been gentle and great with my kids."
"Dr. Recker allowed one of the nurses to give my infant son the Covid vaccine without my consent. I never received a phone call from her to discuss the issue."
"We love love love DR. Recker/Gross . She really is the BEST pediatrician I’ve ever seen! My children love her! She actually really cares for my children. She seems to have a special fondness for my daughter. Or it could be because she’s been her patient for so so many years now. Regardless we highly recommend her."
"Dr is lovely, and while I found the staff in the office to be pleasant, booking appointments has been extremely difficult. I understand that in the world of covid we have to adapt. But my children were not able to enter the building to be cared for or seen face to face by there physician. While the staff expressed this was not there ideal choice it was reserved for those considered to be high respiratory risks, and with my youngest falling into that category of being just that… I went through the motions of virtual appointments for my other children. Regardless of my own intuition being concerned with the lack of care that could possibly be offered virtually. How can one check vitals with lagging screens, and for me to simply repeat symptoms repetitively, between being asked what my child’s cough sounded like…..Call it odd, but I remember a time when sick children went to the doctors. Fast forward to my youngest needing to be seen, who is high risk I was told would again be virtual. After going back and forth with medical history, and setting up a virtual appointment (with the intent on taking her to the ER) they called me back to apologize that she could in fact come in to be seen. Because she is in fact high risk. Making appointments with this physicians office has yet again proven to be extremely difficult. My breaking point however was after today. Calling shortly after they had opened, to schedule a visit for my youngest. Wait time was 7 minutes, however it was actually 30 minutes. Once my call was finally answered, I verified myself my child and expressed symptoms and concerns. It was after being placed again on hold. I was informed that my youngest had been dropped?! I asked does that mean she can’t be seen at all? They informed me that she is no longer a patient nor is she able to regain that status. I asked what for? An unpaid bill? No. For insurance issues? No. Simply because we missed a wellness visit…apparently a letter (to which I still haven’t found) was sent to remind me of this appointment Aug 10th, to be clear and for the sake of this review that is less then a month for now. With no reminder call, no emails, and no mychart message. My child and I have now spent 3 plus hours in emergency to be seen from someone else, (in person at least) this outweighs any care of Dr. and Staff we received while under them. Furthermore I would like to express how absolutely ridiculous it is to drop a patient in this manner. Everyone has hurtles, schedules to work around, and unexpected tragedies. To say I am disappointed is a huge understatement. I hope this office in the future can better adapt for those who face such hardships as these. I can not recommend placing one’s children in their care for it to be dropped without notice."
