"Went here when I was 8, I hated it. Felt like prison. If you want your kids to feel like their in a maximum security prison, enroll them."
"If I could give no stars that’s what they would have. Since late November 2021 they have violated my 7yr old sons civil rights & technically have discriminated against him, they have not followed his 504plan, nor do they even care to speak to me about it. I have tried to get in contact with the principle since late November when my kids were first enrolled to date im still waiting on a returned call (I’ve called multiple times, I’ve left voicemails, I’ve spoke to the front desk) at 9am today I was told the principle couldn’t speak with me because she was heading out for an appt in which I was promised a call back this afternoon, I’ve yet to receive that call back & the offices are now closed & will be til Monday due to the holidays. I’m suppose to continue sending my child to this school while they’re not accommodating him or following legal documents. Also they will block you on there social media (where they post updates about the school, school closing etc) if you comment on there seeking reasoning as to why your child’s civil rights are being violated."
"I’ve been at CPA for four years now. There has been a lot of changes since Mr. Carr left. Although he wasn’t a very nice person he still kept the school in order. There is a lot of unnecessary drama and rudeness. It makes me uncomfortable some days when I come to school. The school is not clean and it has a lot of things that need to be fixed. Although it has good academics, good teachers, and staff there still a lot of things that need work. So if you send your kid here read everything very closely. But CPA is overall a good school there are just some things that need to be handled."
"There is a reason they have good academic scores.. it is called teaching to the test.. that is all they teach too- they are doing a disservice to the community, families, parents and students.. they learn how to take test and pass them. If your child has any kind of academic issues, learning disabilities, delays, special needs or behavior issue they don’t have to serve them or their families, in fact they can be disenrolled...in order to keep up their scores, get more money. This is a charter school they are not mandated to provide any services"
