"Both the church and school are full of loving, welcoming people. A relationship with Christ is preached, taught, and emphasized as opposed to “rules and standards.” It’s a diverse body of believers, with lots of ministries and areas to get involved in. Love God, love others - that’s what’s most important."
"While the teachers provide quality education and preparation for college is excellent, the student culture is toxic. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. There is no love in this school, only legalism; and the shunning and bullying of students who don't fit the mold of their 'model' student is vicious, like the Pharisees in the New Testament. Our brand new student joined a team sport, and when the kids were planning a group activity after practice, our child asked if it would be ok to come along, and was told they were not welcome with a very nasty, cruel comment. That was just the start of the MCA experience, that went down from there, ending with harassment on the Senior Trip. I had high hopes for a Christian school and this place falls far short. They take no accountability for the carnage they create in someone's life, only point fingers at how they turn out as if they have zero responsibility for it. Sad that government school is nicer than a Christian school."
"This place is horrible. The way they treat the lgbtq community is very upsetting. And using funds from donations to buy a house is not acceptable. There is unreal amounts of bullying here and the adults simply just do not care. Never consider going to this place."
"They love the Lord and He is greatly praised and talked about at this church. The Pastors are wonderful men of God. You can't go hear a message without the Holy Spirit doing it's job if you listen to the Man of God who preaches with conviction. Great teachings on Wed. Nights as well. Sweetest people who really care about people."
"Take your kids and RUN!!! I had a terrible experience there, I got a ton of anxiety while going there. My only friends were in the grade above me and I was not allowed to sit with them at lunch. A girl slit my wrist w her nail towards the end of the year and I showed my teacher, she didn’t care (by the way it was bleeding). I got bullied the years I went there for my hair. There are favorites and they’re usually the bad kids. I’m so very thankful that I’m switching schools for next year. It was a nightmare going to school and I tried to fight it every single day. Probably the worst years of my life. The kids who had parents in authority were so rude to me and they would get constant attention from the teachers. Please don’t take your children there. Consider another school."
