"Why do you have to take out loans to go to a community college? When my mother went there, she was able to use the Pell Grant for all her classes plus having a refund. When I go, you have to take out loans. Smh. So when I first started going, a couple months in and people are getting their refunds. Did I? Nope. They didn’t even bother to tell me that I had to pay THEM! Why? They gave some answer I don’t remember anymore but are you kidding me? And then they talk about a “well-rounded education”. Really? I need three or four math classes for an English degree? I quit attending there and transferred to SNHU online courses and that was the best decision I could have ever made. Since going to SNHU, I have obtained my bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and English. With only taking ONE math course. I am now going for my master’s degree. I do not recommend anyone go here because they do not bother to tell you that YOU own THEM money. Not to mention taking classes that have nothing to do with your degree."
"It was chill here when I went. We need community colleges. A lot of adults can’t read and comprehend. Community college should be free and funded with tax payer money."
"Great work! Tri-C finished renovating track August 2023"
"It’s fine if you never have an issue but Staff is rude, not helpful, can never get a straight answer, or they don’t know what is going on."
"Listen to the reviews saying that staff is extremely rude. I transferred to this school from Kent state and boy was it a huge mistake. While there are some extremely nice and helpful people that work here, overall compared to Kent staff seems like they do not want to help the students and get frustrated when you have questions. I'm not talking about professors and just the people that work in the information center and book store. They just don't seem to understand why a transfer student doesn't know every single thing about this school and don't seem willing to help. I have been asking about an access code for a website needed to complete assignments for my class or a few days now, and not a single person, except for my professor has been able to help me. First I was told to go to the bookstore where an employee there was very rude and even scoffed at me for not knowing the exact course number at the time I asked her about the access code. Overall, the professors are really good, but if you are a transfer student and you have questions, you will be met with lots of attitude."
