Abby Braden

Abby Braden is an institution located at 970 West Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio, United States. This health institution is led by Associate Professor Abby Braden, who holds a B.A. from Miami University, an M.S. and Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, and completed post-doctoral training at the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Braden's research focuses on eating disorders and obesity, with a particular emphasis on emotional eating behavior. She is dedicated to improving the conceptualization and assessment of emotional eating, as well as developing innovative behavioral interventions for adults struggling with overweight/obesity and emotional eating. Dr. Braden recently completed a pilot study on a group-based program that combines emotion regulation skills with behavioral weight loss techniques, showing promising results.

Additionally, Dr. Braden and her team are actively collecting data for a study using ecological momentary assessment to examine emotional eating behavior among adults with overweight or obesity. Her research has been published in various journals, showcasing her dedication to advancing the field of emotional eating theory and assessment.
