Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Elyria

"Some what difficult to find and very cold room. Winter stay and thermostat is capped at pre determined programmed temperature. (Sneaky!) Woke up over and over again in the night shivering. No complimentary breakfast despite of being told there was one at check in. Possible language barrier with receptionist. Yes, newly appointed. Yes, nice bathroom. Back hallway smelled like weed was once smoked there and had been covered well with fragrance. Pretty lobby. Plenty of parking. No tea. Only coffee pods in room. Pleasant room design and color scheme. Ripped wallpaper and scuffed paint in my room. Hair on the desk surface. Digs and dings on wood on desk and TV shelf. Not sure how "new" this site really is."

"The staff, desk and bar/food are amazing. Really, I'd stay here just for the personable experience. The rooms are modern, and have everything you'd expect. The wifi is very good too. The restaurant/bar never gets loud. The only let down is lack of detail in cleaning and maintenace."

"Upon first arrival, the room seemed clean and fancy. The room experience kind of went downhill after that. The bathroom smells due to an uncovered pipe beneath the bathroom floor grate and the comforter is covered in cigarette burn marks. Exhausted, I climbed in bed, but there was a big black orbed spider in between the comforter and bed sheet that crawled on me. I couldn't get a picture of it because of the sheer panic and squashing it to smithereens with a tissue, but it was scary looking."

"Modern, fairly new and mostly clean. Small cafe with a minimal menu. Doors are very loud. No free breakfast or coffee or water, even being a perks member gets you nothing but a few points."

"Great hotel. Feels almost brand new. Many modern amenities. The room was super clean, spacious and quiet. No restaurant but a small cafe in the lobby with basic food and drinks. Willie was awesome last night. He was hustling keeping the whole cafe humming making food and mixing drinks. Thanks Willie, you made us feel like we were chilling in our own living room... pizza, beer and The Shining on TV and mean Long Island Ice Tea to boot! If we find ourselves back in this area, we'll stop back to this Courtyard. Nice place."
