"Dr. Egbert may be skilled at birthing babies, but if you’re looking for peri menopause or menopause care I highly suggest you look elsewhere (look for a NAMS specialist, there are a couple in the region and they are worth their weight in gold). Dr. Egbert was condescending and visibly and verbally angry with me during a traumatic, painful and botched procedure because I began to cry during it. After firing her and eventually finding my current NAMS specialist and her gynecological surgeon partner, I received excellent near pain free care and was informed that, in their opinions, I had been misdiagnosed and mistreated by Dr. Egbert. I am finally on HRT (Egbert had no interest in discussing HRT with me - she offered a hysterectomy instead. My new gyn surgeon said absolutely not due to the risk and I’m glad I listened). There are good women’s specialists out there. Dr. Egbert is not one of them."

Dr. Egbert also goes out of her way to meet every single new patient, so at the end of my appointment I was introduced to her, and she reinforced the plan and recommendations Abby delivered. "Dr. Egbert is by far the best OBGYN I have ever had! When I moved, one of my biggest fears was finding another doctor anywhere near as good. I was sorely disappointed. LUCKILY, I recently moved back and I couldn't wait to return to her practice. Not only is she knowledgeable, helpful, understanding and kind but her practice is also top notch! I'm always greeted by kind, understanding women both on the phone and in the office. They are also very eager to help. When I moved back, my old doctor had moved offices (and never told me) and somehow no longer had my charts. When I called Dr. Egbert's office, they quickly booked me an appointment and called in a prescription to hold me over until my appointment. I don't know what I would have done without their help!
