"Travelled to the east broad street location for a drive up test. Spent 2 hours in line - waited 4 days for my PCR test results. I finally get it back - it says INCONCLUSIVE SAMPLE. Charged my insurance 400+ dollars, and now insurance has denied such a large cost and there is now a 270 dollar gap I am responsible for. For a sample that was likely degraded due to handling..."
"This is a drive up COVID testing site. I was there around 3:00 pm on 1-11-2022. There was a big sign on east Broad St., Columbus, Ohio pointing to the testing area. Once you turn in, there is a series of smaller signs directing you. I just pulled up behind the last car in line. They had orange cones set up, but I couldn’t figure out their purpose. There was a paper sign you could easily miss stating you need to register first (link was displayed). If you didn’t register, you would have to go to the end of the car line (maybe that’s what the orange cones were for). Check in was efficient and once completed, you are given a ID number. On the day I was there, it was very cold out and the only covering for the two workers was a flimsy tent. There was no heaters and my heart went out to the staff. I did notice they would go in and out the building after each vehicle. At one point, they were inside for over 15 minutes (I’m sure they were warming up). So, after about 30 minutes wait and I was about 4-5 cars away from the test site, a staff member approached my car to verify my information and to place a sticker on my steering wheel. She was very cordial. Finally, I reach the test area. I greeted the lady - no response. Her words were “I need your sticker”. I handed her the sticker and she told me to sit still while she aggressively jabbed and probed this 10-12 inch cue tip up my nostril. I had never experienced this type of pain from a COVID test. I’ve gone to drug stores in the past, but they were all booked out for a couple days or more. Let me tell you … the jab was so intense, I bled. I was going to add the photo of the amount of blood that came from my nostril, but decided it might be disturbing for some viewers. The entire side of my head was in pain for over 20 minutes. My head hurt, eye watered and hurt, ear hurt and my teeth hurt. I almost called my doctor to see if this pain was normal. After about 5 mins with no relief, I went to Dr. Google instead. I read that it was NOT common. So, I’m guessing it happens. I’m giving the lab 2 stars because I do appreciate they were available, however, train your technicians to give guidance to the patient. It’s not there fault that one person, having a bad moment can bring your ratings down. This lab technician had no empathy and was clearly sadistic! She literally jabs and walks away! BTW the results were back within 24 hrs. If you use this test site, TILT your head back!"
"Sent this note to the company. Note that the site was open to 5pm and there were only 7 total cars. Unbelievable! Showed up at 4:15 and was turned away along with 3 other cars.. was told to come back tomorrow. Why did you schedule us and have us drive all the way there to just turn us away? Terrible experience, we could have made it to a different drive up in Hilliard. Very rude employee as well. Won't be using this company in the future."
"Worst infrastructure and follow up I’ve experienced. They need to invest far more in report delivery and automated services if they are going to rely on these mediums. Their system will notify one of a test result by text and then when repeated errors occur within the system a human can neither be reached nor does the company respond after multiple inquiries for assistance during normal business hours."
"Paid for guaranteed 24-hour results for a covid test for travel. Barely got them in time for our flight 72 hours later and were almost denied boarding to get home. I also had to contact customer service to get the results- they still were never actually sent to us. The testing center itself was also poorly run, the check-in link was broken, and the person who took our sample was very inexperienced. I wish I could say to avoid this company, but unfortunately there don't seem to be other options in Columbus to get covid tests for travel."
