"Really enjoyed night one of our two night stay. Night two included a wedding reception above our room which went until midnight despite the front desk saying the party ended at 11:30pm. Our 7th floor room overlooking Millennium Park was overall really great: comfy bed, spacious clean shower and bathroom and A+ views. This is a great hotel if you can tolerate crowds. Very busy lobby all day long and busy bar area starting in the afternoon. We love that the space is open to all but as a visitor staying at the hotel - it’s a lot. The hotel did offer a welcome Prosecco drink which was nice. Don’t expect to get a seat at the rooftop bar or hotel restaurant. They are booked out solid a month before. Ask hotel if there is a wedding the weekend of your stay or any parties, if so it’s best to stay as far away from the 8th floor to avoid loud noise. Our room was literally shaking and squeaking from 930pm until midnight. Great location, fun free bar games and an amazing “dark academia” vibe."

"I can’t say much about the rooms because we didn’t stay there but we encountered Dave at the entrance. What an amazing person. He answered all of our questions and was willing to show us around and take us to the game room. I’ve never experienced such wonderful service. Thank you Dave for making our visit to Chicago very memorable."

"The experience of this hotel is truly a phenomenal one, for the most part. The beauty in the architecture and the vibrancy of the different areas to not only have coffee and read but also play pool and grab drinks was worth it. The place was absolutely a vibe, truly had great service but there were some downfalls. For the price, the rooms were less than extraordinary. There was limited space and absolutely no place to unpack any clothes. There were only a few hangers and a small area to hang up coats, but that’s it. Additionally, the appliances were very old and did not work. We tried the iron and hair dryer and both did not work sufficiently. Overall, great experience, but don’t think we would choose the same hotel, but we would definitely go hang out there while downtown."

"We absolutely adore this beautiful hotel! My husband and I have stayed here a lot and we feel like family every time we walk in. The guest services team is so kind and always treats us so well. Could not recommend it more for a stay in the city. Conveniently located to everything and honestly sometimes we don’t even leave - there’s so much to do in the hotel itself! Highly recommend - one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at, it is incredible."

"Stayed for a few nights—the building is nice and historic. Service in the restaurants and bars are terrible. Cherry circle food was edible at best and the primary server was bordering on contemptuous. Game room you can’t even get served. There are much better places. The building is 4 star the experience is 1. Do yourself a favor and stay down the street."
