Giordano's

"Stopped by Giordano’s after a Columbus Crew match and on the way home. Early evening dinner, so the restaurant was not crowded & we were seated right away. Our waiter introduced himself, Dawon, and took our full order, drinks, appetizers, salad and deep dish pizza (which is our favorite). Off to a good start. For some reason, it took over 10 minutes to have drinks (non alcoholic) brought to the table, perhaps, because the waiter had multiple tables he was serving (?) and busing others himself without assistance. A couple seated after us (with a different server) had beverages & their appetizer served and eaten before ours ever came out to the table…which was 20 minutes later. 45 minutes or so later (which is the normal wait time for the deep dish) our pizza was ready. Unfortunately, the salads never came…and the pizza, brought by another staff member, was “warm”, so had likely been sitting in the back a few minutes. Our meal was overall, fine. When the bill came, sure enough, Caesar side salads were listed. We asked the waiter to edit or adjust for them and he was very apologetic, stating he thought someone else brought the salads out. (Again, he was busy). What Dawon missed on the service of salads as an oversight, he did make up for in beverage refills, overall friendliness and hustle. Just too much going on, so I’m not knocking his rating down too much. Could I have asked for or reminded him of our order, yes, I suppose so. But…"

"Came for lunch and have never had the pizza. It was INCREDIBLE!!! super delicious and our server Christina was very friendly and super quick with refills. I'll be back!"

"Really enjoyed the classical deep dish in Giordano's. Same quality as the Chicago branch. Medium size was more than enough for a family of four. Also recommended: appetizer sampler, particularly the bruschetta..."

"Have wanted to try one of their deep dish pizzas for years. Do realize if you get one it's about an hour to bake it. Pizza was excellent, we got ours to go because I heard about one piece and you'll be full, that was correct. Ate one slice in the parking lot and headed home. Do have a couple slight complaints. We got half pepperoni and half sausage. With the sauce being on top, couldn't really tell what half was what? And honestly, I couldn't taste any pepperoni with all the cheese, my girlfriend said she didn't really taste the sausage either. With that said, I'd get one again, but save my money and just get a cheese pizza."
