"My brother and I were kids at DCCH from 1990-1994. My time there was the best of my life. I think about the children’s home all the time. The workers we had there were absolutely amazing. I can remember the last visit I got with my mom while there. I tried to play it off like it was no big deal and I was doing good with it until ms crow and sister Jean mari came to check on me. As soon as they walked in I lost it. They both grabbed me and held me like I was their child. I will never forget that. My brother ended up getting adopted and I wasn’t ready for a new family so I opted to stay at the home. I am now 39 years old with a family of my own. I owe so much to the children’s home. What I wouldn’t do to meet some of the staff I had while there!!! Love DCCH so much❤️❤️❤️"
