"I just wanted to confirm everyone’s suspicions. The bad reviews are accurate. I attended this university prior to my current. The current administration has essentially ruined the old experience as it’s no longer considered a high bar diversity program. They seem set on taking advantage of students and bleeding the institution dry. For example in my first and only class, my professor cancelled 7 weeks worth of in person classes due to her not being able to find a sitter for her kid on the night class was scheduled. She instead posted an eight minute video each week covering the basic concepts in that week’s chapter. Our homework was one question and she didn’t even grade it. She just gave full credit for turning it in. The final yes the test you take to showcase everything you learnt was also participation. I knew it wasn’t normal and spoke with the department chair. He pretty much stated that they were struggling to find qualified professors and nothing could be done. One class isn’t a total loss. It was a lesson that looks can be deceiving and that I should seek an institution that focuses on curriculum rather than appearance. I cut my loss and transferred out. But it’s okay. In 2026, the administrators at Lewis will be required to prove gainful employment at each program’s level in order for its students to obtain federal funds. The institution will either change or close down indefinitely."

"This school is why the American education system is ruined. Half of my classes are just reading books and the assignments haven’t changed since 2017. The teachers don’t even bother to change the date on the assignments. The administration is lazy as well as they don’t update the course catalog and even though they say you can petition for old classes to be reimplemented it will never happen. The on campus life is relatively boring. The only thing that works at the school are the emails reminding students how much their payments are. Unless you’re getting a full ride Lewis University should be avoided."

"As someone who graduated from here and was considering returning I don’t think that I will be. Obviously you don’t care about your students. You Enrollment advisors cannot read nor can they respond. I was sent wrong info and when followed up the Advisor just ignored me. I am not impressed to be honest. There are other universities out there who do want business and student success. You’re not special anymore."

"I was here for a formation opportunity. It is a beautiful campus. Well maintained. Staff were kind and welcoming."

"Beautiful campus! Great nursing program as well as aviation programs. Small aircraft always flying around which makes for an interesting atmosphere. Professors are helpful and want you to succeed. Mostly a commuter school with a few dormitories on campus. Food is mediocre, so bring a sack lunch."
