"Dr. Meade and his nurse are wonderful!"
"My son and his wife took their 3 day old son to get immunizations, the nurse told them if they don't get the covid vaccine, that they need to go somewhere else, so they left. I called to see if that was their policy and they told me they are pro vaccine and that i was incorrect. My son and his wife both heard the nurse say to go somewhere else. I asked the manager if she was in the room when the nurse said it and she refused to answer. Do not take your kids there an let them impose their liberal views on your children."
"I have been visiting this facility for 20+ years and never really had any concerns. I brought my son in to be seen. The lady who initially came in our room to greet us asked if anyone had been exposed to COVID. When I told her we had she replied with "they shouldn't have let you in" and walked out of the room. We then heard them talking about us outside of the room, very unprofessional. The doctor came in the room moments later. My son really liked him which is why I gave the 2 star review . As we were leaving, a lady named Tony up front rudely told my son to go out to the car as I waited for a school note. I have never been treated with less dignity and respect at a doctor's office before and was completely thrown back. I hope someone with importance addresses this issue with these individuals so noone has to experience this again."
"We have been with Blanchard Valley Pediatrics for 6+ years. We have never been overly thrilled with the service, but recently we have become more frustrated and have decided to switch to another Doctor for our kids. Recent issues include the following: 1. Antiquated equipment - my son surprisingly failed his hearing test at his check-up. We have never had any indications of hearing problems. The equipment is so old, they have to turn the headphones around because one side is broken. My son also said he had a “bubble” and his ear popped and he could hear. They wouldn’t listen to him and wouldn’t let him retake the test. After a few weeks of worry and money spent on an audiology appointment, I was told my son’s hearing is perfect. 2. Lack of after hours support. I tested positive for Covid and have been trying to get them to refer my kids for a Covid test. Their after hours number is now with Nationwide. They told me they could only refer us to a place in Columbus for testing. 3. Condescending. I was told that the flu vaccine was a “when” not an “if”. No discussion. Even if I am for the flu vaccine, I do not appreciate the attitude."
