"Clean, comfortable, and about as easy as a colonscopy can be. Staff were all pleasant, patient and kind. Susy took excellent care of me from start to finish!"
"The front desk girls and the nurse went above and beyond and they were so incredibly kind. My experience with Dr. Ahmad Ascha was polar opposite. He was extremely rude, and acted like I was arguing with him on my care. I wasn't in the slightest. At one point he condescendingly asked if I even wanted his help. I couldn't believe it. I agreed I needed the things he said I did but I would rather die than be asleep in his presence for a procedure if that's how he treats people while they are awake. I went in hopeful and left in tears. He needs to retire."
"Jason, Kim and both Abigails are exceptional - rare to find an entire team of incredible employees in one place! My esophageal endoscopy was much easier than I expected thanks to the care of this wonderful staff, highly recommend."
"I had a colonoscopy Wednesday, the nursing staff was kind and helpful and at discharge told me to call with any questions or concerns. The following day I had severe lower abdomen pain, chills, and low fever. I called the office to let them know this. The nurse called me for routine follow up call not return of my initial call and advised me those symptoms were normal. The pain continued and it was difficult to function. I called 2 more additional times with no response. Then I called overnight answering service to say severe pain is still present and I couldn’t sleep. I then called to verify they received message and I was told they did and someone would call me back. I called two additional times and left messages with receptionist and after hours answering service and no reply. I am now headed to the er because severe abdominal pain for 48 hours is not normal and I am concerned about multiple things, I also contact a nursing service through my insurance and as I knew they would, they advised me to go to er immediately. How can you not touch base with such a concern after a procedure you did? Even if they would have called to advise me to go to the er, that would have been a one minute call from a nurse."
"I am a VN vet who developed severe pain in my abdomen. The Veterans Administration setup an appointment with this office in lieu of waiting for an opening at the Louis Stokes VAMC. I was originally scheduled for 3 weeks from the date of my referral. When they heard of my discomfort they were able to move me up to less than a week. I had both a colonoscopy and an EGD and it was painless. Like most offices now Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and office staff do much of the admin work. The physician was there for my history and physical and he was present before, during and after the procedures. He gave me a post procedure review of what he found and forwarded the results to the VAMC. My wife was impressed with his manners and thoroughness and is going to schedule a procedure with him this summer."
