In my most recent experience it was during the loss of my best friend, Panda. Every single person I encountered that day was absolutely amazing and so caring. "I had a great experience here. I called in the morning for a cut on my dogs mouth that I was really worried about. The receptionist, Heather, was extremely kind and asked me questions about the cut that made me feel that they were taking it seriously. The staff was able to get me in that same day, two hours later. They took amazing care of my dog & Dr. Glick came in to ease my worries and help me out with great information. The support staff were extremely nice & knowledgeable as well. I’m going to be switching my dogs primary care here as i feel extremely confident in their services.They even made sure that mine and other dogs were okay being around each other without issues of reaction. "We’ve been going to Massillon Animal Hospital for almost 40 years and I’ve written 5 star reviews for them in the past, but a recent visit has changed that. I was quoted $400 for a dental cleaning for a Yorkie, plus an additional charge for tooth extractions, if needed. I dropped off our dog off at 8:15AM and we were never notified to pick her up until we called the office at almost 4PM to check on her. The parking lot and office were empty when I got there except for the staff. After already paying $200 prior to the procedure, I expected to pay an additional $200 - $300. I was told I owed just over $800 in ADDITIONAL charges !!! My Yorkie had 4 teeth extracted. The staff could not tell me how a $400 cleaning turned into a bill in excess of $1000. After deducting over $200, my total bill still stood around $660. The staff said they would turn the issue over to the doctor, who never contacted us. After almost 40 years of great care and a great staff, unfortunately we will be looking for another veterinary office."
