"My child sees Dr. Sharp and he is nothing short of amazing. If appointments are running behind, he never makes me feel rushed, he is so great with my kids (even the ones that aren’t his patients), he listens to any concern I have without interjecting or making me feel silly. He is kind, patient, and truly takes the time to ensure your concerns are heard and validated. I highly recommend him! The other staff members in the building are warm and kind. I’m honestly surprised at some of the reviews, but they seem to be older reviews. I would recommend this office to anyone!"

"Decided to try a physician near my folks since they moved out to Alexandria and I never thought it would be possible to be bad at their job as a doctor. I had Kathleen Browning, I had abdominal pains severely so I took a urinary test to test for nutrients. I was severely malnourished from stress and her response was irritated telling me I need to eat and drink more. Her assistant, Tanya was the only one who seemed to really care. I wish she was a doctor I would go with her in a heartbeat it was clear she truly cared about people's health and loved to do it. I later had bloodwork done and they were phenomenal having a phobia and the results were great. I took another test and results were fine. However, it's months later and I still have a stabbing abdominal pan and hope to god it isn't serious. Over $100 was spent and nothing was solved. In fact, after talking to my folks about my experience and since I came in from California they really did treat me like a druggie trying to get a pharma fix. News flash, California isn't all about pot and forest fires quit living in a bubble and stereotyping without visiting. Never visiting Kathleen Browning again. I'm not leaving feedback on their St. Elizabeth Physician app either the back-end framework is terribly programmed and they'll just sell my data so don't ask me. Hopefully this helps someone save time, patience, and money."

"I’ve never had a bad experience at the “Alexandria Office.” The receptionists are extremely sweet,and caring. I think Dr.Sharp is an excellent doctor, and I’d refer him to anyone looking for a primary care provider. He is highly professional but the main reason I would recommend him is, you can tell he is companionate about his career as a doctor, he is completely attentive when you are speaking and addressing your medical concerns. Dr.Sharp takes his time with his patients, however, he is still promptly on schedule as far as his appointments are concerned. I have had numerous doctors in my past, and by far he is the first I’ve ever gave any recognition too!!"

"My husband went twice to the ER in December, 2019. Both times, he presented with severe abdominal pain in his upper right quadrant and was pale and cool to the touch. The ER doctors took one look at him and his bloodwork, which showed elevated glucose levels and said he was a type 2 diabetic and sent him on his way. That did not make any sense to me as he was having severe debilitating pain. I have a nephew and ex brother-in-law who are both diabetic and neither have pain like my husband was experiencing. In May, 2020 (in the midst of COVID-19), my husband got really sick again. He could not hold down food and was in severe pain. He was able to wait it out throughout the weekend to schedule an online call with Dr. Thomas Sharp at the Alexandria KY office. Through the online visit and concerns about my husbands well-being, Dr. Sharp ordered a CT scan with contrast for my husband at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. I took him for the CT scan and brought him back home. Within 15 minutes of getting back home, at 8PM at night, DR. Sharp called us. He stated that my husband's gallbladder was beyond inflamed and needed to be removed immediately. It turned out that his gallbladder was the reason for his elevated glucose levels as the infection was affecting his pancreas. He strongly suggested that I get him back to the hospital ASAP, which of course I did. Within a few hours, Dr. Sharp had an entire team of surgeons and doctors working on my husband's case and they prepped him and scheduled him for surgery. Originally, the surgery was supposed to be only 1 1/2-2 hours, but my husbands gallbladder was so beyond infected, the surgery took almost 6 hours! Dr. England, the surgeon, even called me post-op and stated it was one of the worst gallbladders he had ever seen! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sharp! If it wasn't for his follow up and calling us even late in the day (after hours) I do not know where we would be today! He is a wonderful doctor and is very thorough and patient.
