Kindervater & Carroll LLC

"I went to Kindervater and Carroll for a few months. I only went there because I needed mental health medication. I went to therapy elsewhere, but they couldn't prescribe. My biggest issue there was med refills. I am on adderall for ADHD. Because of its control rating you have to call your doctor's office every month in order to get a refill. Kindervator and Carroll was SO SO SO bad at doing this. Not only did I usually go a week without meds before they refilled it, they also just flat out would not refill it unless I called at least three times. I once sat across from the lady who was prescribing for me and had her tell me she put three refills on my meds. The next day I called the pharmacy and they said they didn't have any refills. It took me two weeks to get my meds filled after that. DO NOT GO HERE if you have to get refills from your doctor's office. In the time I was there I went through multiple anti-depressants, all of which I had a bad reaction to. I had gone off Lexapro because it didn't seem to be working anymore. I later found out my doctor could've just increased the dose. But because it was an SSRI, the person I saw at Kindervater decided SSRIs didn't work on me. I had adverse reactions to every med they put me on. A year later I went to a different doctor and she suggested Prozac. Turns out SSRIs do work on me. So I would also say they aren't very good at medications in general :/"

"Well I have had two therapist, and they both now have left, I have had issues getting my medications, I have called office several times, and my pharmacy CVS left multiple refill requests, and they get no response, I am very sad."

"The clinical staff is great. The office staff, not so much. I tried making an appointment through their website and it was denied. I assume it was because I owe them money so I called to pay off what I owe and get my appointment and had to leave a message as usual. And as usual they DID NOT call back as they never do. I've called many times trying to make a payment and you just can't talk to them. At this point I'm done with them."

"I have had the same experience as another review below. They quite literally do not ever answer the phone, and rarely call you back. I have been calling for three whole weeks begging them to refill my medication and have been told several times that they would get it in by the end of the day, and they don’t do it. Would give zero stars if I could. Do not go here."

"If I could give it 0 stars, I absolutely would. The secretary here doesn't do anything she says she will, and that's if you can even get someone to answer the phone. I have been trying to get in with my psych for 3 months and whenever I call she says she'll return the call by end of day, NEVER DOES. I keep running out of my medication and having to call for a whole day begging someone to send it it...but they don't answer. It's absolutely horrible, I cannot recommend less. Currently looking for another practice because this is absolutely insane. I shouldn't have to fight and call repeatedly to get the care promised by medical professionals. DO NOT GO HERE. SERIOUSLY."
