"I went to Mercy Perrysburg for appendicitis. I have never been to a hospital where every single person from start to finish was so kind and professional! Tennie at the front desk was a sweetheart. My nurse Leighann in the ER was exceptional. My surgeon was Dr. Canos and he thoroughly explained my surgery and walked me through exactly what he was going to do. They all made me feel like I was their only patient. Even the house supe escorted me to pre-op. The nurses in pre-op had been working 16 hours and you would have never known it. I live 25 mins away and this is the only hospital I’ll go to if I can help it!"

"They should really make a zero star option. I was told to go to the ER by my primary. I was told I was going to be seen by Barb Cornell who is a physician. I am very disappointed and feel outright disrespected. The doctor’s assistant, whose name is Steve Theiss, is who came in instead, (without my knowledge). Right away he was extremely rude, dismissive and disrespectful. He wouldn’t let me get two words out without interruption. I was told by my provider that I need to seek medical attention if a rash occurs due to my medication, as it can be deadly. He told me to get some Benadryl, and that I shouldn’t have come to the ER, and said he didn’t think my rash was from my medication, even though my provider of the medication told me to get medical attention immediately if a rash occurs. I understand the ER must be a difficult job, regardless, that doesn’t warrant the treatment I was given. I will be making an official complaint. Do better."

"In case of an emergency, it is advisable to head directly to Toledo Hospital or St. Vincent. Unfortunately, the facility is lacked on-site specialists and could only provide limited assistance, leading to a critical situation. My husband had fallen and lost consciousness at night during his stay, experiencing internal bleeding. The hospital was unable to perform surgery due to the absence of a GI specialist on site and wait till next afternoon for GI doc to come. The situation became urgent, and I had to search extensively to locate a nurse for his care. It was a challenging experience, underscoring the importance of choosing medical facilities with comprehensive capabilities in emergency situations. We miss St Luke!"

"I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. I went in for an ER visit and got admitted, had surgery, and spent a couple days there. The entire staff from the check in to ALL the doctors and nurses were absolutely amazing people. Let's not forget the housekeeping, dietary, and linen crews. EVERYONE was extremely nice, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This place literally saved my life."
