"Another case of a person needing me psychiatric clearance and he denied it. I've been compliant with my meds, Psychologist, and prognosis. I don't see how he can know anything about a person other then 15 min conversation and a 540 question test."

"What a joke this doctor is. His office is in a dilapidated area. Very low lighting in an odd conference type room. Has patients fill out personal questionnaires about health history with other patients at a table, where is HIPPA? He does not research patients and refuses to listen to a guardian. My sister suffered brain damage which limits her reading abilities and this doctor refused to listen or request her medical record to investigate. Please I beg anyone if you're doctor sends you to his office request an alternative. He is basically an insurance scam."

"Went to him for a bariatric surgery evaluation. Due to my previous mental health history and the medication I am on he "failed me". I was immediately dropped from the program, after loosing 25 lbs in 3 months and passing my dietitian and IM doctor evals. My previous mental health issues will never change. The meds I am currently on are what have led me to the point of wanting to live and wanting to be healthy. My psych doctor that prescribed those meds was the one that recommended the surgeon that led me to Dr Kanter."

"I went to Dr. Kanter once for a psyche and it was a complete waste of my time. He charged my insurance multiple times and then had me pay $125 on top of the $1000 insurance claims. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone or ever go back. Wouldn't give me my results of my test. Complete waste of time and money do yourself a favor and find someone if you are considering going to him."
