"I came to this clinic in search of pain management for my degenerative joint disease and was very disappointed in the the over service and experience that Dr. Scheplia and his staff gave me. Was told I needed a pre-authorization for a simple procedure for an injection for my SI joints (hips) and was good to go with my insurance. Come to find out several months later that the pre-authorization was not submitted correctly by the staff at this clinic and my insurance would not cover the bill. The billing department was not willing to take blame and forward me the full bill for over $3,000.00 even though it was their mistake for improper billing. This is not how you do business, and I would never recommend any friends or family visit this clinic due to their poor billing and administrative practices. I've gone down every route to try and appeal this with my insurance but they keep telling me that the clinic has to adjust documentation on their end for the bill to be covered and it has never been fixed. I now have a bill collector harassing me daily due to a screw up from this clinic. Do not go here! Bad service and billing practices!!"
