"Tried to make an appointment and was told that I am self pay now and have a bill for nearly $1,300 dating back to Feb 2020. I was told that none of my 8 appointments from Feb 2020 through November 2021 were covered by my insurance, yet I was not told until May 2022 that I had any balance or my insurance wasn’t accepted. I called my insurance company 5/19 who told me that none of those appointments were ever submitted to claims for over 2 years. When I called back to the doctor I was told by a receptionist the claims were submitted timely because she had dates next to the claims. My insurance told me to have the doctor ‘s office call them and they would explain that they never received any of the claims. If 8 appointments were submitted and “not accepted by my insurance” why did nobody tell me that information for over 2 years until the outstanding charges were over $1,200? The receptionist told me 5/19 that they did not accept my insurance, so why for 8 appointments over 2 years was my insurance card taken and scanned and nobody informed me of an outstanding bill or that my insurance wasn’t accepted? I was told that my 2/14/22 appointment would probably be covered. WHY IF IT’S THE SAME INSURANCE?!!! I was offered the rate for self pay. Why on earth would I do self pay if I have good insurance? Unacceptable on the billing and receptions behalf."
"The staff is so impersonal, I can’t name names because no one had on a name tag any of the times I was there. The rude nurse told me they were so understaffed and not to expect blood work results for weeks. Then when I attempted to confirm the blood work was done, I was assured it was ready and I would receive results when took off work to come in. Turns out they either lost the blood or didn’t send it, results were NOT available. I was asked multiple times if I “was sure” I had it drawn IN their office. So clearly documentation is not adequate. They then BILLED MY INSURANCE AND SENT ME A BILL FOR THAT BLOODWORK THAT NEVER HAPPENED. insurance fraud. And I will be reporting that as well as MULTIPLE HIPAA violations. I asked for referrals and the wrong patients info was sent. Similar first names.. completely different birthdays. The rooms are not cleaned between patients. The scale had actual orange crust… I hope it wasn’t vomit but it looked like vomit. The walls are PAPER thin, so ask for a fan if you’re disclosing anything you don’t want the entire office to hear."
"Refused to test me for COVID-19 after I told them I was exposed and experiencing a cough and fever. They called me in a zpack and steroids. Needless to say I went to hospital and was positive for Corona. When I called them to tell them they didn’t even apologize. They are so uncaring. Never went back. I’ve never met such a rude staff in my life. And that wasn’t the first time the misdiagnosed"
"Terrible practice. Extremely rude staff and the Drs are awful. Not sure how they are even Dr.s. They are the most unsympathetic staff I’ve met I’ve been dealing with breathing issues, extreme wheezing, shortness of breath and coughing since 11/25/19. My last appointment was 4/3/20 and since I’m Still experiencing it they finally said I need tested for COPD. Called today to see if I can get a appointment because I’m still sick and they told me the discharged me as a patient. Wouldn’t give me an explanation said it was in the letter they sent me. I never got a letter and I told her that. On 4/3 when I seen the Dr she mentioned nothing about dropping me. According to the receptionist I was dropped in March and the could only care for me till 4/9. I’d say a new Dr is needed because 6 months of severe breathing issues all they’ve done is kept me on steroids and antibiotics. Six months of antibiotics and steroids seems wrong especially since I had no improvement on them. I seriously think they had my chart mixed up because that letter never came to me and they’ve been closed since March. What could I have done to be discharged? Bunch of quacks!!!! I wouldn’t let them treat my dog. It’s just hard to find someone who takes my insurance but I bet it don’t take another dr 6 months to find out what’s wrong with me. They’ve let me suffer long enough"
