"So this is my room. I came in for back surgery on Monday January 15th 2024. The first day and night was absolutely excellent. The staff did their jobs efficiently and effectively. But if you end up staying longer the worse you get treated. You start waiting an to an hour and a half for your call light to be acknowledged. You receive less and less help as the days go on. They start missing your pain medicine times. Now for instance I am still in real pain my dr. Came to see me and said that basically it’s not normal to still be feeling as much pain as I do. All I know is that I feel it and it really hurts and times. So he prescribed a new inflammatory to go through an iv so it will be effective faster. So at around 830 my nurse came in to do my meds. And not so shockingly I did not get the new medicine. The iv I had was leaking so instead of taking it out replacing it and giving me the new med to see if it would help my back pain. She decides she will not do that she will go do her other patients. Now about 9 am she peaks her head through my curtain and says oops. And leaves again. It now 10:00 am and I am still waiting for the new iv and the new med while I am still hurting and very uncomfortable. When I first got here it was honestly like literally the best hospital i’d have ever been in. But the longer you stay apparently the worse your time here gets. And it sucks cuz there are some really excellent staff here.the more you say something all you get are empty I’m sorry’s. It is sad because I have done nothing but be in pain and they are just treating me badly. Like they don’t care if I’m in pain. I’m truly dumbfounded. Now at 9:56 after my call light was on for almost an hour finally some one comes in I tell them I am still waiting an I am ready for iv and new med. but nothing happens I am still waiting. What a damn shame. So at 10:17 I got the new iv. The nurse was awesome it went right in no pain. But I do not get my new medicine. So I am just feeling in pain and hopeless. So for a surgery center this place is phenomenal but apparently don’t overstay your welcome."
