About the Business
Lakota Robotics is a FIRST Robotics Competition team based in Olde West Chester, Ohio. Our team is dedicated to inspiring and empowering students to pursue careers in science, engineering, and technology. We provide a mentor-focused program that teaches leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Our team is currently preparing for the 2024 game, Crescendo, and our robot, VioLinda, is ready to compete on the 27 feet by 54 feet field covered in grey carpet. Join us as we work together to make a meaningful impact in the world through innovation and creativity.

Using advanced power tools, she helped build machines (robots) that included electronics and programming components, worked with professional engineers who are the club advisers, plus she learned life skills like team work, planning, organizing, public speaking, conflict resolution, goal setting, problem solving, leadership and self-confidence. She joined as a freshman and is now a senior. She wants to be a mechanical engineer and has been accepted into Purdue College of Engineering, University of Illinois College of Engineering, and University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science.
