"There is not enough that can be said of CCMS. Nationwide, hands down, the TOP school for Mortuary Science. Back in the late 90s, early 2000s... there remained one professor who built a controversial reputation for himself. Although he will remain one of the toughest professors I've ever encountered in life, he performed his job to the utmost... preparing me for the world of anatomy, chemistry, science, and the "gut-wrenching" national board exams. It would later take several years for me to truly see how valuable this professor had been. He put me in mind of the character "Mr. Feeny" on the show "Boy Meets World". He was practically a real - Bill Nye the Science Guy =) As years passed within the Mortuary business... it was clear and evident that CCMS had given me an education that far exceeded my peers. CCMS has outshined year after year! From accounting to restorative art, from directing to embalming, every detail of Mortuary Science being systematically studied and absorbed. We are Post Morten Plastic Surgeons! And to think... it only took 15 years to pay off my last student loan."

"I was sold a bunch of lies to get me to attend. The teachers are truly inconsiderate. They don’t care about your time or problems outside of school, but always want you to conform to their circumstances. Don’t give clear instructions on work. When confronted about unclear tasks they respond like a petty parent that realizes they’re wrong but doesn’t want to admit it. The attendance policy is wild. Upset I wasted my time at this school, Worst decision ever!!!"

"I walked out of that school $40K in debt (had none prior), with no job lined up (my apprenticeship fell through 3 month prior to graduating), no idea what I was getting into (they sugar coated BS to get you in their school), and I would have taken a $20-$30K pay cut if I would have accepted any job offered to me by the funeral homes offered. You’re starting pay is NOT $46K. At BEST you would get $34,000, no benefits, having to work on call most if not every day for a full year. The only good thing about the school is the teachers will actually help you learn the topic… They themselves are over funeral homes and their lack luster abuse of employees. Join a Facebook group on funeral directing if you don’t believe me… DON’T GO TO SCHOOL HERE."
