Ponderosa

"I LOVE (The) Ponderosa. It's classic and nostalgic. Reminds you of how great things were back in the day. The staff here is so amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. We went at like 630 on Monday night, not realizing they close at 8. They kept the whole salad bar open just for us and even asked multiple times if we wanted fresh fresh items. I can't wait to go back for lunch next time. Chicago to Coldwater is a trek for a lunch buffet but I'm willing to do it."

"Yes there are still Ponderosa restaurants still open. Well, 16 ponderosa/Bonanza are left in the United States down from hundreds in the past and one of them is in Coldwater, Michigan. Every time I eat here I wonder about the almost total disappearance Ponderosa. The beef tips are always good and the food is great for being a buffet."

"We take our grandkids because they love it... First place they ask for! Very clean and very friendly even with my overly excited grandson who does not want to sit still. The salad bar is my favorite! Fresh and lots of great options... I also usually get a side of nachos and they have all the wonderful toppings to go with it. i would highly suggest it! love their rolls as well"

"The positive side was the girl who waited on us was very attentive and took care of us. The food was very bad. It was cold. Taste was bad. A lady at the salad bar was chipping ice away and it was getting all over and in items on the salad bar. Very unsanitary. We had to leave it was not something we enjoyed or could eat at all. The waitress did get our money back. As mentioned she was a good waitress, that is the only reason I gave two stars. I don't think the manager cared, but at least one person was doing a good job. Thank you to her."
