"A fantastic choice for breakfast, lunch, or brunch ... Anytime before 2:30 pm. Incredible, top notch service. The food was prepared to perfection. Highly recommended if you're looking for a midday breakfast."
"Recently moved to the area and started popping in here for a quick bite and a hot drink, now it's become my new regular diner! Always-fresh coffee and comforting meals; I'm especially fond of their sandwiches and wraps and house-made potato chips. Staff is all-around friendly and charming. Very homey and quaint, just a fine little diner ♡"
"Dining begins when you walk through the door and you see clean spaces and happy faces. It continues with smells that conjure your thoughts to anticipate a great meal that includes great service. Boathouse Cafe is the place, and Shelly does an excellent job making you feel welcome. Potato pancakes are outstanding every time. Everything tasted fine, and the portion size along with price is more than reasonable."
"The food was good but don’t come here if you have any food sensitivities or allergies. They are cranky about it and don’t want to accommodate in any fashion. I ordered an egg white veggie omelette. I asked the waitress what kind of oil they use to fry the egg in. She replied with butter. She appeared irritated by me questioning. I then asked if they had any milk alternative oils they could Friday egg in like olive oil or canola oil, etc.. She said she had no idea she would have to check. I said OK. I assumed she would come back with a response to let me know. Instead, she came back with an egg, white veggie omelette with cheese on top and cheese inside even though I said I couldn’t have dairy. Then she was very abrupt and cranky when I needed an omelette without cheese. There were no water refills. The other person I was with got potato pancakes, which she said were delicious. So as far as the food, what we had seemed quite tasty and good. But the service is horrific and not very accommodating. As for the inside of the facility, it’s quite nice. Very open. Lots of windows. Has a bar seating area where you can see some of the kitchen. I won’t be returning, but for people without food allergies this may be a good option."
