"This is a private pool. There is a waiting list of 200 families on any given day. You do not have to pay to be on the waiting list (which takes 3-4 years to get through), but it is close to $1K the first year of membership, because of various fees. For access to a pool that you don't have to maintain, the price seems really reasonable after that first year. I've been to the pool as a guest, and was so impressed that I put our names in. It is a lovely pool, and I can definitely see why there's such a long line."
