"Great burgers but the fresh cut fries were dark brown and not thoroughly cooked. Will give them another chance. Especially the cheeseburger with fries on it."

"They used to have fair prices for their food. They've raised their prices and the quality is no longer anywhere near the price. For over $12 per hamburger the quality better be phenomenal. This place has gone over a cliff. Maybe they got too popular and thought their food was better than it actually is? Whatever the case, it's not worth the money to go here anymore. There are far superior places for the price. KNOW YOUR PLACE!"

"We loved this place. A very small burger joint with great food and friendly service. Five booths and 8 stools at a counter make for an intimate dining experience. Remember the place is "Bob's Hamburg" after the city in Germany, but they serve Hamburgers. A simple menu featuring a variety of custom burgers. We went with the special, a Mac & Cheese burger with a scoop of chili and a Fried Mozzarella burger. We split an order of onion rings. You could see the burgers were fresh hand made. Food was ready in 5 min. All the food is cooked on a 12 x 18 grill. The food was excellent. The cook and server were friendly and conversational. The exterior of the place is a couple notches below a dive but the food, service and atmosphere were great. Ah, keep in mind the one unisex restroom is outside. It is old but clean and heated. Large people might find it difficult to use."

"An absolutely wonderful gem of a spot! RUN HERE, DO NO WALK!! Fantastic food in a wonderfully unique and old-school setting. They don't make em like this anymore!! Come check out another delicious serving of Akron's unique burger history. This place has been around since 1931 serving fine, gum-dipped, blue-collar Akronites alike.
