"After living here for 16 years I can saybit is worth your time"
"Nice park with ball diamonds in good shape with relatively new fencing. There's also a newer shelterhouse with picnic tables and playground area. This site offers plenty of parking both by the ball fields and by SR-117 where the old Roundhead Elementary School sat. This is somewhat of a hidden in plain view gem as this park is taken care of very well."
"This is a definite stop for my toddler each time we travel to Indiana to visit family. There aren't many playgrounds along the way that are good enough to entertain her for long enough time, let alone being not off the route and with a shaded area to sit with a baby. It has a nice shaded shelter with picnic tables. No running water, and just a porta potty for toilet, but it's still good for kids."
"This is a cute little park seemingly in the middle of no where. It has features for older and younger kids as well as a place for a parent or guardian to sit. It has an older playground with tons of older style structures like swings, a metal slide, and tons of climbing gear. It reminds me of a school yard from the mid to late 90s. There is a bench in one play area and several tables under a shelter house in between the two play structures. There was a trash can available as well as a porta-potty in the parking lot. There seems to be a good amount of parking. This was a great little stop on our way to where we were going."
"We stopped here to stretch our legs on the way home. It's a cute little park, perfect for a child that loves to climb or has an active imagination. It was perfect for kids to burn off excess energy before continuing our drive. The walking path that circles the playground was good for a liitle stroll for the adults. The only downside of this park is that it is mostly metal, so on hot sunny days, the playground is hot as there is no shade."
