St. Elizabeth Edgewood Hospital 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017

"I've never seen where you don't get your dinner the well over an hour you're calling nurses station to see where ur dinner is bc they shut phones off to patients ordering service. My food was sitting out in hallway for at least 25-40 minutes. The people who deliver your food just left it there and didn't even bother to tell nurses that there was food for a patient. So naturally ff was so soggy and hamburger still red. So basically food wasn't cooked all the way. So I was told that I could order from 2am-4am. Well that the cafeteria where people order from. So they wanted me to pay. Well I don't have cash on me and don't have debit card either so still no food. They said that was all they can do until cafeteria opens at 6-30 am. So here I am 21 hrs later still haven't eaten. I was offered a lunch box, turkey only, but don't like turkey. So I just got a small can of chicken noodle soup. I'm a diabetic on top of it all. U got till 8 pm to order but the people was gone by 9: or before and completely closed. Worse experience ever. I would fire the person who left food tray sitting in a hallway and the chef for closing early. They use to have great food. Some still is but it's nothing like it was b4. I make up some of my own pasta dishes. The nurse did as much as she could but still the idea of it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who had problems with getting food. So I'm still haven't slept and still very hungry that my stomach is hurting. So I guess I'll try to lay back down"

"I would like to thank all the staff at this wonderful hospital. I have no words to thank the nurses, doctors & social workers for the way they have treated my husband and me. We are going through very difficult times with my husband, he is very sick, but all these people who work at the hospital, they are compassionate, sweet, and very professional. My husband is a veteran who fought for our country with love & loyalty. But now he is being treated with love & dignity by all the hospital staff. For me this hospital is the best in every way. May God bless you all for your level of compassion Note: My husband's room is always clean. The truth is that the compassion, love, and understanding that they have shown us is impressive. Because in these difficult times where we have a loved one who is sick, it makes us feel heartbroken, as I have written, my husband is an Air Force veteran, working with the Department of State & Department of Defense his entire life. . And in this hospital they treat him with dignity, understanding & love."

"I arrived at the hospital by ambulance. Every nurse and Doctor that cared for me was absolutely amazing! I was admitted and had to get an upper GI Scope. The Endoscopy team could not have been better. Every employee that I came in contact with made me calm and I was at ease. I can't say enough about how wonderful this hospital is."

"Everyone here really goes out of their way to help make your time here not only painless but as enjoyable as possible. The staff shows empathy, patience and are genuinely just lovely human beings. I spent a few days here and had the pleasure of speaking with people in different departments and every person was nicer than the next. In a profession where it would be so easy to be jaded, grouchy or just too exhausted to do anything beyond your standard duties- everyone I met went above and beyond. An unfortunate circumstance was made significantly better by the people here."

"My dad had to have emergency surgery in this hospital. We could not be more pleased with the staff everyone has been so kind and empathetic. The doctors have been very informative and did a great job. Literally every staff member we have come in contact with has went out of their way to be helpful and kind willing to go out of their way to make our time here pleasant. Even when we refused to follow protocols they listened and didn't create issues. They trusted that my mom new what was best for my dad's health and didn't punish us for being his advocate. I would never hesitate to come here."
